Hive Management, Inspections and Teaching
We offer either full year-round or one-off management services in the broader Tauranga area.
We can teach/show you how to run your hive and perform disease checks and varroa mite counts. We can also provide organic and synthetic varroa treatments.
We manage all types of hives such as Langstroth, Bench, Flow and Top Bar hives. There are a wide number of options depending on what you want and where you are based.
Charges are $50 per hour, including travel, plus costs if there are varroa treatments, hive registrations or other out of pocket expenses. If you reside at a longer distance, we're happy to discuss options and/or recommend a beekeeper who is closer to you.
